Every single day, one of the first things we do is get dressed.

While there's no single standard, most brands today design clothing for 'fit models' who are 173 cm (5'8") tall (a fit model is a real person brands use to decide on the fit, drape, and proportions of clothing during design and development).

It's no wonder, then, that women under 160cm tall have trouble finding clothes that simply fit and feel good to wear - after all, they were never designed with us in mind! When they do exist, limited 'petite' ranges often simply shorten existing designs as an afterthought.
